What Is Curling?
Curling is that cool sport on ice where players slide big granite stones toward a target, while teammates sweep like crazy to guide it just right. Think of it as a mix of bowling, chess, and a bit of sweeping, all rolled into one. Two teams take turns trying to land their stones closest to the centre, using strategy, precision, and lots of teamwork. It’s easy to get into, fun to play, and way more exciting than you might think. Whether you’re brand new or just curious, curling is a sport anyone can try and everyone can enjoy!

How Scoring Works
Scoring in curling is all about who gets their stones closest to the middle of the target (called the “house”). After all the stones are thrown in an end (kind of like a round), only one team scores and they get a point for each of their stones that’s closer to the centre than the other team’s closest one. It sounds tricky, but once you see it in action, it clicks!
